Kimberly A. Rosen, DDS

I’ve spent over 20 years in my profession and I still love it! I enjoy helping people, discovering their personalities and hearing their stories. Coming to my office is a joy each and every day!

Education and Continuing Education

I started my career in medicine at California State University, Northridge earning a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science. After graduating in 1987, I moved to San Francisco to attend the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. At the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry is where I joined the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association, before graduating in 1990 with a Doctorate in Dental Science. From 1990 to 1991, I performed my General Practice Residency in Hospital Dentistry at UCLA.

Part of my responsibility as a dentist is to attend courses in continuing education in order to ensure that my patients are receiving the absolute best services available. I find these seminars and educational retreats very fun and exciting! Our whole team goes, providing great team bonding and a chance for us all to grow as a team. I am always learning something new, and enjoy change and progressing my practice forward into the future of dentistry.

As part of my continuing education, I have completed a 2 year minimum orthodontic residency and I am now involved in the Invisalign Study Club. The courses I take build on my natural enthusiasm for learning and help me provide the most advanced dental treatments and materials available. The educational side of dentistry makes me feel caring and purposeful and I plan on teaching at UCLA in the near future.

In the Practice

I love dentistry because I find that people are unique and exciting. I love their individual idiosyncrasies and hearing about their families and dreams. I also enjoy the second family of my team. I appreciate the individuality that each member of my staff brings to the table to form a great cohesive working team. The sheer volume and quality of work that we can get done together is amazing.

My team is fabulous. Each in their own right is very talented, hard working and totally focused on what’s best for their patients and our practice. We strive to make each person happy and comfortable while visiting us!

Family and Community

I have lived in the Santa Clarita Valley for 14 years, and all of my children were born here. I love our community and am proud to call the Santa Clarita Valley my home. My husband, David, and I have been married for 20 years, and we have three beautiful children. Zach is 13 yrs old, Sami (Samantha) is 11, and Jacob is 9. All my kids attend public school in SCV. Our family also includes Yenta, our 95 lb Rhodesian ridgeback, who loves to hike and sleep on my bed.

I am proud to be involved with our community, mostly through my kids’ activities. I volunteer for my children’s soccer teams as well as both the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. I am also an active member of the Congregation Beth Shalom. I support the Betty Ferguson Foundation and all SCV sports and children’s programs. I also participate in giving back to the community by volunteering my services to RAM/LA and The Modern House Call for Women. In my spare time, you can usually find me cooking, scrapbooking; wine tasting, hiking, or my absolute favorite, reading! I always have a book in my hands! I also love sports that involve a lot of risk, and once rafted a river that was so dangerous, that they immediately deemed it a class 6 and unraftable!
